1. General information
1.1 This policy applies to the Website operating at the URL: safeme.uk.
1.2 The Website operator and the controller of personal data is: SFM SOFT SPÓŁKA Z OGRANICZONĄ ODPOWIEDZIALNOŚCIĄ, Jana Kazimierza 64/128, 01-248 Warszawa, Poland.

1.4 The Operator is the controller of your personal data with respect to data provided voluntarily on the Website.
1.5 The Website uses personal data for the following purposes: running a newsletter, handling enquiries submitted via a form, and presenting the offer or information.
1.6 The Website gathers information about users and their behaviour in the following ways:
- a) through data voluntarily entered in forms, which is entered into the Operator’s systems,
- b) by storing cookie files on end devices.
2. Selected data-protection methods used by the Operator
2.1 Login pages and places where personal data is entered are protected at the transmission layer (SSL certificate). This means personal data and login data entered on the site are encrypted on the user’s computer and can only be read on the target server.
2.2 User passwords are stored in hashed form. The hashing function works one way — it is not possible to reverse it, which is currently the modern standard for storing user passwords.
2.3 To protect data, the Operator regularly performs backups.
2.4 An important element of data protection is the regular updating of all software used by the Operator to process personal data, which in particular means regular updates of software components.
3. Hosting
3.1 The Website is hosted (technically maintained) on the servers of the operator: dhosting.
4. Your rights and additional information on the use of data
4.1 In certain situations, the Controller has the right to disclose your personal data to other recipients, where necessary to perform the agreement concluded with you or to fulfil the Controller’s obligations. This applies to the following groups of recipients: the hosting company, acting as a processor; online chat solution operators; authorised employees and associates who use the data to fulfil the purpose of the site; and companies providing marketing services to the Controller.
4.2 Your personal data is processed by the Controller for no longer than is necessary to carry out the activities related to it, as set out in separate regulations (e.g. on bookkeeping). With respect to marketing data, it will not be processed for longer than 3 years.
4.3 You have the right to request from the Controller: access to your personal data, its rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, and data portability.
4.4 You have the right to object to the processing referred to in point 3.3(c) with respect to the processing of personal data for the purpose of pursuing the Controller’s legitimate interests, including profiling, provided that the right to object cannot be exercised where there are important, legitimate grounds for processing that override your interests, rights and freedoms, in particular the establishment, pursuit or defence of claims.
4.5 You have the right to lodge a complaint against the Controller’s actions with the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (UODO), ul. Stawki 2, 00-193 Warszawa, Poland.
4.6 Providing personal data is voluntary but necessary for the Website to function.
4.7 You may be subject to automated decision-making, including profiling, for the purpose of providing services under the concluded agreement and for the purpose of the Controller’s direct marketing.
4.8 Personal data is not transferred from third countries within the meaning of data protection law. This means we do not transfer it outside the European Union.
5. Information in forms
5.1 The Website collects information voluntarily provided by the user, including personal data, where it is provided.
5.2 The Website may record connection parameters (timestamp, IP address).
5.3 In some cases, the Website may record information linking the data in a form with the e-mail address of the user completing the form. In such a case, the user’s e-mail address appears within the URL of the page containing the form.
5.4 Data provided in a form is processed for the purpose arising from the function of that particular form, e.g. to handle a service request or a sales enquiry, service registration, etc. In each case, the context and description of the form clearly explain what it is used for.
6. Administrator logs
6.1 Information about user behaviour on the Website may be logged. This data is used for the purpose of administering the Website.
7. Key marketing techniques
7.1 The Operator uses Google Analytics (Google Inc., based in the USA) for statistical analysis of traffic on the site. The Operator does not transfer personal data to the provider of this service, only anonymised information. The service is based on the use of cookies on the user’s end device. With respect to information about user preferences gathered by the Google advertising network, users can view and edit information resulting from cookies using the tool at: https://www.google.com/ads/preferences/.
7.2 The Operator uses remarketing techniques that allow advertising to be matched to the user’s behaviour on the site, which may give the impression that the user’s personal data is being used to track them; however, in practice no personal data is transferred from the Operator to advertising operators. The technical condition for such activities is having cookies enabled.
7.3 The Operator uses the Facebook pixel. This technology means that Facebook (Facebook Inc., based in the USA) knows that a person registered with it is using the Website. In this case, it relies on data for which it is itself the controller; the Operator does not transfer any additional personal data to Facebook. The service is based on the use of cookies on the user’s end device.
7.4 The Operator uses a solution that automates the Website’s operation with respect to users, e.g. which may send an e-mail to a user after they visit a particular page, provided the user has consented to receiving commercial correspondence from the Operator.
8. Information about cookies
8.1 The Website uses cookies.
8.2 Cookies are IT data, in particular text files, stored on the Website User’s end device and intended for use with the Website’s pages. Cookies usually contain the name of the website they come from, the length of time they are stored on the end device, and a unique number.
8.3 The entity placing cookies on the Website User’s end device and gaining access to them is the Website operator.
8.4 Cookies are used for the following purposes:
- a) maintaining the Website user’s session (after logging in), thanks to which the user does not have to re-enter their login and password on every page of the Website,
