How is this different from calling the emergency number?
A Safety Assistant responds the moment something feels wrong, you don't have to wait for something to happen. They have access to your location and details, so they act right away without you waiting on the line, and when needed they direct the right services to you.
Will the services know how to identify me?
Yes. When you register you provide your details and a description of your appearance, with the option to add a photo. In an emergency the Safety Assistant passes this on together with your location, so help reaches you faster.
Can I use Observation during physical activity, such as running?
Yes. Choose your destination and how you're travelling in the app, and a Safety Assistant will watch over your route. If something goes wrong, they respond immediately.
How much does SafeMe cost?
Your first 7 days are free. After that, access is £7.99 per month on the Personal plan. You can cover your loved ones with a Family plan: £20.97 per month for 3 people or £34.95 for 5, that's £6.99 per person. Pay for a year upfront and you pay for 10 months, with 2 months free.
